The Matrilocal Son-in-Law EP 8

Synopsis

For three years, Gu Yan has played the role of the timid, subservient son-in-law, but beneath the surface lies a calculating mind. His wife, Luo Hanshuang, publicly humiliates him for their three years of infertility. While Gu Yan begins to manipulate his widowed mother-in-law, Wen Shu, he finds himself entangled with his half-sister, Luo Lingxi, who uses aphrodisiacs and blackmail to control him. After Luo Lingxi seizes the position of matriarch, Luo Hanshuang and Gu Yan join forces to strike back, eventually revealing that the child is not Gu Yan's. With Luo Lingxi cast out, the honor returns to the matriarch and the power falls to the son-in-law.
